Do you love limited editions, ULTRA-limited ones? This 100% Gamay Saint-Romain from the volcanic soils of the Côte Roannaise is guaranteed banana-free. Inside the bottle, you’ll find nothing but… drumroll… grapes (wow! How do they do it?). Among insiders, we call this a “pur jus” aka pure juice. This unique cuvée drops by surprise, with only a handful of bottles produced. A rarity. A delight.

Terroir

High-altitude vineyards cultivated with respect for life. Granitic soils.

Winemaking

Hand-harvested grapes, sorted in the vineyard. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and without any additives from start to finish. Aged in barrels. Unfined, with no added sulfur, and no tricks like chaptalization, acid correction, coloring agents, or thickeners. We respect ourselves, and we respect you.

Winemaker

A wine crafted by Christophe Kaczmarek and Romain Paire, famous biodynamic winegrower in the Côte Roannaise AOP (Auvergne aka Volcanic Loire).

As always with Caaaaaaat, wines are vinified, blended, bottled, and packed at the estate, with respect for the soil, biodiversity, and the humans who make it all possible.
