CHRISTOPHE
KACZMAREK

He lights up when he hears about wine.
He listens to Chopin, Kanye West, Moor Mother, Thelonious Monk, Led Zeppelin… He drinks wine (no kidding?), little beer, and a lot of champagne (at the same time?).

Christophe is the creator of the Caaaaaaat universe: a wine enthusiast, a dreamer.

With twenty years of experience in wine, his journey has taken him across the globe: from being an amateur grape harvester at 14, to running a wine bar in New Zealand at 31, and working in international trade for family-owned wineries.
In 2015, he founded an agency representing winegrowers, with particular care given to highlighting family domains, handcrafting their wines.

In 2019, Christophe took the leap into production.
He began creating wines with his winemaker friends, passionate artisans whose work and commitment he respects. This is how Caaaaaaat wines were born, a collection of wines in his image: bold, disruptive, provocative… yet always aligned with his core values, which can be summed up in one word: respect.

ABOUT CATS

Our wines are made with grapes, grapes, grapes,
and love… but why put cats on a cosmic background?

  • To stir up nosey naysayers
  • To inspire a visual dream world
  • Because… why not?
  • We don’t take ourselves seriously (life’s too short for that)
  • We love wine, cats, and the universe.
  • We are, after all, tiny human beings lost in the infinite big
  • Cats are free creatures, and our wines are free creations!
  • What are a few centuries of supposed ownership compared to a planet
that’s 4.55 billion years old? The universe reminds us that we are small, that we are never true owners of our vineyards, merely caretakers lucky to be here for a brief moment.

Caaaaaaat wines are free, thought-provoking, surprising, and explosive.
