In lands where stones hold the memory of ancient fires, Magic Caaaaaaat is born, a creature of clearings from which spells emerge. Magic Caaaaaaat is a breath of dawn captured in a bottle, a clarity drawn from the source of the mages.

in the mouth, this dry white wine casts a spell. Made from black grapes, it is carried by a fresh, lively substance. It rises like a sorcerer’s staff, bursting with bright citrus peel. The finish pulses, long and fine, a trace of light powder shooting straight toward its horizon.

Terroir

Single vineyards “Jardin” planted on silty clay soils over a limestone bedrock (Burdigalian).

Winemaking

Biodynamic viticulture. Whole-bunch harvest of Merlot, draining and pressing, blending of free-run juice and first press juice to produce a blanc de noirs. Spontaneous fermentation (indigenous yeasts) in 225L barrels, one year ageing in the same barrels (topped up), ageing on fine lees. No filtration, no fining, no manipulation, no shortcuts. No added sulphites. Méthode Nature wine.

Winemaker

This wine was created by Christophe Kaczmarek, Baby Winemaker, with his friend Michel Maestrojuan, winemaker at Domaine Entras, in the Côtes de Gascogne.As always at Caaaaaaat, wines are vinified, blended, bottled and packaged at the estate.
