What is natural red wine?
Natural red wine, also known as natural wine, is produced with minimal human intervention.
Unlike conventional wines, it is made without chemical additives, industrial yeasts, or added sulfites (or only in very small amounts).
It typically comes from grapes grown using organic or biodynamic farming. Natural wine reflects the terroir, the vintage, and the winemaker’s craft — with nothing artificial.
Why choose natural red wine?
Choosing natural red wine is an ethical, ecological, and flavorful decision.
These wines respect the land, the vine, and the drinker. Thanks to their low sulfite content, they are often easier for the body to tolerate.
On the aromatic side, they offer a unique, vibrant experience — sometimes surprising — with direct fruit expression and raw energy.

How is it made?
The process begins in the vineyard. Grapes are grown without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers.
Harvesting is usually done by hand to preserve the integrity of the fruit.
In the cellar, fermentation occurs with native yeasts found naturally on the grape skins. There is no fining or sterile filtration.
Sulfur use is reduced to a minimum, or avoided altogether.
This method requires great precision, as the wine is never “corrected” during winemaking — it is a faithful reflection of nature.
How to enjoy it?
Natural red wine is a living wine. It should be approached with attention and curiosity. It may show light sediment or natural effervescence — both signs of vitality. Serve it slightly chilled, around 14–16°C. A short decanting can help it breathe. It pairs beautifully with seasonal dishes, vegetarian recipes, grilled meats, or aged cheeses. Perfect for sharing, it often sparks conversation.
